The 2006 CRNLS Music Awards

I've always love music. Music will always be my first love, way before design came into my life. I'm proud of the fact that I have a good ear for music. I can tell a good tune just by listening to the first 2 bars of a song, I can remember practically 90% of a song content by one listen and I've always had this knack of predicting if the artist will make it big or not. If I had a good singing voice, I know I'll make a darn good singer! :P
And I've always wanted to be involved in music be it writing, producing or performing. Being a DJ helps me with this craving and since I can only DJ and not produce, write or sing, let me satisfy my inner music craving by reporting on it! So let me present you with the inaugural CRNLS Music Awards! Honouring the finest music of the past year. Do take note though that this year's edition of the awards only honour the hip-hop, R&B & drum'n'bass artists seeing that 98% of the music I listened to in 2006 were from these genres. I'll try to include country & polka for next year's edition. On with the show!

Presenting the winners in the hip-hop categories!

So we have reached the new year, 2007. My my, how fast time flies by really. It seems only yesterday that we celebrated the arrival of 2006 but now it's 2007 and big things are coming my way in 2007. I'll be leaving the land of singledom and will walk hand in hand with my bride down marriage lane. That's gonna be a big change now doesn't it? So let me take this opportunity to apologise to my soccer/D&B/teh kakis if I can't join you guys for our gatherings/gigs/football matches/kickabouts because I ain't a single man no more. I've got a wife to look after! ;)
Think I'm coming down with the fever though. Feeling so cold in my feet and fingers...
